NOT big rig friendly!!! We have a 43 foot fifth wheel and bottomed out on the truck just go into the park to turn around so we could leave. Very hilly and narrow one lane road on the way in. Was supposed to snow and be slippery overnight and we could not risk not being able to leave in the AM as those roads in being slippery, we would surely have ended up in the ditch. So we did not stay and cancelled our reservation for that night but had to turn around in the park, again very steep narrow lane once your in and it winds around and up to where we bottomed out going over a ridge of some kind. Pavement was too narrow to accommodate our trailer so it was dragged through mud scrapping along the pavement on one side. Perhaps okay if you rig is less than 20 feet or so. We did get a refund so that was good, but this not a park for large rigs or to go near if roads are slippery.

Great location, wonderful sunsets, nice friendly Staff, and very accommodating. Pet rules did not work for us and we left early as a result. Pets are not allowed to do any business other than in the pet park or on the road on the way to the pet park. Not even allowed to go on your own site even if you clean up as we always do everywhere we go. Pet park smelled very bad of urine. It was quite hot and humid when we were there so perhaps that was why but in fact the whole park had a strange septic smell going on. We left two days early and got a refund no problem, so that was great and much appreciated, but we wont be back. It was just not the place for us with our pet.

Nice park, easy on/off highway, friendly staff, cool location in the mountains...But not as big rig friendly as we would have hoped. Very steep and not so level sites. We did an overnight stay on the way home from our Florida march break trip last year. Almost ripped off our spare tire leaving the place when it dragged. Very steep and sharp turns for a tall and long 5th wheel like ours. We were actually concerned about tipping over. We wont be back with a big 5ver.

We have stayed there overnight on our way to Florida 3 years in a row now. Open all year with winter water and drive thru sites.
A little bit of drive off the highway (approx. 5 miles) but very quiet at the beginning of march. Washrooms were clean and warm. No issues with Staff or booking a site. in fact we have never met them in person as we arrive late and leave early. Paperwork is always waiting for us and drive thru sites are easy to use which is a big plus after a long days drive and when you're pushing 65 feet in length.
It looks like it would be a nice place in the summer, its hard to tell as its been covered in snow every time we've been there. We will be back this year on our way down.
