We stayed here one night on our way through the area. The gravel roads and grass sites made the area very dusty. The showerhouse was huge, very nice and clean, and nicely decorated. There is a restaurant onsite, Cap.n Jack's Pub. We ate dinner there, the atmosphere was pretty basic, and it was very hot inside (no a/c?). But the food was good, and it served us well. They have a pool, mini golf and some games. It was a good overnight stay.

The campsite was amazing, backed right up to the river - it was great watching the boaters, fishermen, paddleboarders, and zipliners from our spot on the shore. But the rest of our experience was not so great. We thought the price was extremely high. None of the staff we encountered were personable or friendly. There were so many "rules" they were trying to enforce. We arrived at 1:15 pm and they refused to let us check in before 2 pm, would not even tell us our campsites, and indeed would not let us park on their grounds to wait (there was no place to park anyway). We had to go down the road to a rest area to park and wait. It did not make us feel welcomed! Quiet hours were surprisingly not enforced, a group of young women partied loud and long next to us into the wee hours one night. The showerhouse was a long way up the hill, the doors did not shut tightly , so the place was covered in bugs every morning that had come in to the lights which were left on all night. Overall, although the river site was awesome, the price was too high for the rest of the experience, I doubt that we return.

We were travelling with family, and got two opposite pull thru sites with green grass space between us. This was really nice, however, we had to pick all our stuff up every night (chairs, etc.) because the sprinklers came on at night. I get that they have to water the grass in Moab to have any, but it was a little inconvenient. There is no shade, as all the trees are very small. There will be some eventually. The staff was very friendly - you get chocolate chip cookies when you check in! They have a nice little store, pool, mini golf, horseshoes, lifesize checkers and chess. The showerhouse was not always the cleanest, but it got a lot of use. You did need a code for the bath house after dark, I appreciated the security. There were cabins, and quite a few tent sites as well. Definitely a great location for Arches National Park, it is less than a mile to the gate. There is also a great, paved bike trail along the river, you can access it just across the highway from the park.

This was a very nice park. It was mowed, there were lots of trees and flowers, they had a pool, mini golf, a playground. The showerhouse was very clean, with nice decor and great hot water. The hosts were so helpful and kind, assisting us with getting the KOA discount card. There was a little restaurant area, that served pancakes in the mornings. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a huge park, and it was packed when we were there. The roads and the sites are gravel. It had just stormed when we arrived, and there was lots of water everywhere. The staff were friendly enough, but they were very busy, and it did not feel very personal. There were some cabins, and covered tent sites. The showerhouse was acceptable. It could be a good base to visit Colorado Springs. We only stayed one night.

This is a lovely, small park, well maintained, with wonderful outdoor areas, flowers, decor, patios and firepit. There is a stream behind the park, it was enjoyable to listen to the water flowing by. You are in a rural area, we awoke to roosters crowing and horses whinnying. There was a nice game room and library. The owners are very personable and friendly, she has a little shop with crafts and quilts, you could even sign up for a quilting weekend. The town of La Veta is small, but has a few eclectic shops and historical buildings to see. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area.

We spent four nights here, with family, sightseeing in the Durango area. The location was a little far from Durango, but acceptable. The park is beautiful, with multitudes of flowers, streams, and ponds. Our sites were pretty close together, but backed up to a stream, which was wonderful to listen to in the evening. We enjoyed trout fishing in the ponds. The showerhouse only had 2 showers, but they were big and clean. The town of Bayfield had lots to offer for shopping, dining, or necessary errands. We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed one night, passing though the area. It was late on a Sunday night, we spoke to the staff on the phone, and used the self check in. The staff person was very helpful. It is a small park, and seems to have a lot of long term residents. We had absolutely no TV reception in the evening, although we did get some the next morning. The showerhouse is a concrete block building, nothing fancy, but it was clean. The park was fine for an overnight stay.

We stayed one night on our way through the area. Much of the park had big trees, but our spot on the end of the row at the front had no shade. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The showerhouse was clean and the showers were in little individual rooms. They had a large store, the usual souvenirs, sundries, etc, but an additional large area of RV accessories and maintenance items. The access from I-65 was easy, but there was a lot of highway noise, sirens, and trains rumbling and whistling all through the night. There was a pool, although we did not have time to use it. It was a good overnight stop.

We had a site close to the bathhouse on the Gulf Breeze Loop. The bathhouse was nice and modern, with A/C. The campground is just a boardwalk's walk from the amazing white sand beach and clear clean water of the Gulf. The park is rather remote, it is 20 miles to Port St. Joe, but as long as you come prepared with food and beverages, you won't want to leave anyway. You can enjoy the Gulf or the calmer bay waters from this campground, so bring your kayaks and snorkels. We can't wait to return!

We were travelling south and stopped here for one night. We wished we could have stayed longer! It is a very nice park, blacktop roads, and grass sites. There was a lot of landscaping, flowers, water features, and palm trees. The pool was beautiful! The staff were so friendly and helpful. There was a game room, and a mini golf course. A free continental breakfast was offered in the clubhouse in the morning, and you could get the local newspaper delivered to your site as well. The showerhouses were all immaculately clean. They have several cabins as well. We will definitely be back if we are ever in the area again.

This park is considerably off the highway, out in the country. It is not hard to find if you follow the directions, and there are adequate signs along the way. The owner and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There is a small lake, with sites all around it - when we were there the water level was quite low, so I am sure it is prettier when it is full. They do not have cable, but they do have an option to let you use a satellite box and are glad to help you get it set up. They also have a few cabins. The showerhouse was in need of an update, but it was clean. This was a good place to stop on our trip south.

This park was very nice, just outside of Memphis, would be a great base for seeing the tourist sites. Nice wide blacktop roads, and concrete pads, pull thrus. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They had a very nice pool. The showerhouse was very clean and modern. There is some jet noise at night, as it is located close to the airport. We would definitely stop here again.
