This is a convenient, pleasant, quiet, lovely campground. Our site was along the river. The roads are gravel, well-maintained. The sites are level, and many have trees, providing shade and a nice appearance. The rates are good and the staff is helpful. We have returned twice and recommend it to anyone planning a trip to this area.

The Good Sam rating resulted in our selection of this park, along with its location so near Rocky Mountain National Park. The route to the RV park was the most challenging of our trip. When I mentioned it to the clerk, she said a lot of people told them this, yet the website offers no alternate routes. The campground is nothing but dust, The sites are not at all level and a challenge to set up. We didn't even approach the restrooms because of the condition of the grounds and every building we saw. No landscaping. Nothing attractive about this campground. Not a place we wanted to sit outside due to the dust and noise from the nearby road. The management needs to attend to maintenance, appearance, and site conditions. We have been travelling seven months, stayed in dozens of campgrounds, rely extensively on Good Sam, and were very disappointed. All this for a rate 50% higher than almost every campground we stayed in for the entire trip.
