We stay here a couple of times a year overnight on our way south & return north. It is always clean, neat & well taken care of. Staff are always friendly & helpful. It is convenient to fuel & groceries, easy in and out. The restrooms are very clean and the private showers are nice and have enough room to actually change in. The price is very reasonable for what you get.
We definitely recommend staying here.

This is a beautiful park. We have stayed here many times in the past several years. The whole park is kept well groomed and maintained. It is a nice quiet park. The week+ that we were visiting it had a mix of families and seniors with activities that were enjoyed by both. It can be quite difficult to get reservations during times that events are held in & around Silverton...plan ahead if you can! It is well located for visiting Silverton & sites around the area. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful.

This is an older park but being maintained. We stayed in a full hook up space with a lovely view. The space was narrow with the tree so close we were unable to open our awning and barely our door. The space was not very level and so it took time to level our trailer.
The laundry room was always busy during our week+ stay unless you wanted to do laundry in the early morning or late at night (it was open 24 hours so you could spend your night doing laundry). The bathroom/shower was old but clean. Considering that maintenance must be done early or during the season because of weather the roads were in fairly good condition. Unfortunately, we were never able to eat at their restaurant as it was always busy and they don't take reservations. It is a very convenient location for visiting Glacier Nat. Park and we would stay here again.

This is an old park but well maintained. Leveling can be an issue and all spaces are back-ins ('pull-thrus' are actually driving thru one space into another). It is very clean and neat. The restrooms are very out of date (makes one think of dorm showers at summer camp) but clean and functional. It is in a very convenient location...on the edge of town, fuel station across the street, easy on & off the highway.
We would definitely stay again.

This is a very old park and has not been maintained in some time. The roads are in very poor condition and most of the spaces are too narrow for a vehicle with slides. The bathrooms and showers were not cleaned daily (and not well then!) during the week+ that we stayed there. There are two laundry rooms but if you have more than two small loads of laundry it will take considerable time or you must use both at once.
The mature trees are very nice for shade but need to be trimmed (and some removed?) so trailers can use the facility. It would be nice for tent camping. It is a very convenient location for visiting the beauty of the Black Hills but there are several nicer places close also.
We had issues with the lack of an office phone on making & altering reservations. We were told by camp employees that the listed phone is a cell that the owner carries (and she doesn't speak much English so when she did return my call we couldn't communicate well).
We would not stay here again and Good Sam needs to update its review.

The only reason to stay here is convenience...spaces are narrow, we would not even use the restroom/shower building as it is falling apart! (holes in the floor! rotting walls), the swimming pool was not in use and filthy, the park itself has some resident trailers with trash piled around them. It is easy on & off the highway and close to fuel...the only reason to stay and then only if I couldn't get in another park.
This place needs Good Sam to take another look, I don't think it rates as a Good Sam Park.
