lovingly maintained camp with some neat perks. A free cookie on arrival, fresh cinnamon buns ($) on order each morning. Xmas decorations very pleasing. Our site was spacious, check in and escort expedient.
Quiet. Mature trees. Layout to suit those trees, so one site is this away, that one another way.

Access and directions easy with any size rig. Registration on or off hours simple. Short term visitors are directed to the front row sites, or second row as default.
Turns in camp can be confusing, as the sites are situated so that you go around and reenter to site, then exit past the office. ask for escort or walk the route. A minor issue. Leveling was minor.
Hook ups were convenient, properly located, in good repair. Shade trees evident for many sites, so ask if you want shade or your satellite tv.
Good Sam discount honored.

Access off hwy 62 good. Do Not use Good Sam gps directions to the park, they put us in a corn field miles away.
use the owners directions. Call ahead and believe him!
Overnight # 29 70' pull thru site was very good, hookups located properly, site level both ways. Did not use facilities.
Shuttle to Lamberts Cafe, 'The Home of Throwed Rolls' much appreciated, immediate seating ahead of the waiting line, worth a tip to the Lamberts driver.

We first spent an overnight at RV PARK USA several years ago when on the road to Az. The experience then was quite positive, so when we planned another month stay in the hill country ( our 4th) we chose to go here for a change of pace.
This camp is convenient to all the sights and locations the hills offer, has close access to shopping.
Sites for short term visitors are long level pull thru, close to laundry and washrooms, but a bit narrow and bordered by concrete curbs. Back in sites are also available for short visits, are noticeably wider,as long.
Maintenance throughout the camp was excellent, staff hvisible, diligent yet unobtrusive. Area safe, minor I-10 traffic noise. Comfort Cafe next door good food.
Hookups were good, Wifi acceptable.
