Wonderful in every way. Gravel pull through site with good hook ups. The owners were very kind, provided cane fishing poles for their private pond. ** Clean showers, hot water, good water pressure ** Very organized and thorough information provided for local area. Follow the owner's directions, not your gps.

Clean bathroom ** No Showers

This was a by - chance weeknight stay while passing through. We called the park manager and he gave us the information we needed to get in and set up, we did the paperwork on the way out. 62+ gets senior discount. Immaculately clean park and site was a level concrete pad. The camp caters to ATV & Horse campers, alternating weekends. Nice lake for fishing, boardwalk walkaround, playground, and a perfectly positioned porch swing. We could have stayed a few days!!

Small campground tucked between the 4 -lane and the State park. While adequate, this park is well used. Everything was clean, but a little tired. We didn't have reservations, just pulled in the night of ( weeknight) and had 3 spots to choose from.
Bathrooms were clean, campground was pleasant, the museum was outstanding! If you stay at the park, you get 50% off the museum.
Water/electric/dump station was fine.

We stayed on a weeknight, just passing through. Check in was easy, the ranger gave us a list of open sites and told us to drive in and pick what we liked. Nice, big, shady sites with picnic table and fire ring. Incredibly clean showers with great water pressure. Easy to back in, easy to find, has military discount for retirees.

We almost passed this great campground up because of the prior reviews, luckily a friendly permanent camper changed our minds. The owner greeted us warmly, had a pull through spot open for one night, led us to it, and delivered firewood to our site. We had to use a set of legos on one side to level, but no issues with that because the site is nicely gravelled.
The pool looks clean and new. The playground is a classic American playground that we all grew up with. You should bring what you need, but they do have firestarters and toilet paper if you run out. The bathrooms are simple and clean, and you put a quarter in to prevent the water from running all night, if someone were to forget to turn it off.
Finally, this camp ground is in the woods, in the mountains, in West Virginia. We have a 30' TT and know how to drive a truck on country roads. If you live like a rock star in a tour bus, or can't see over the steering wheel, this is not the spot for you. If you like frogs, crickets, wind in the trees, and a good campfire, you'll find this to be a great spot for a quick or extended stay.
