I can't believe I am the first to review this state park. We are here in November and it is cold, might freeze tonight but OH the leaf colors. What can I say but WOW. Campsites on hilly road but sites pretty level. Two area for rv camping, I would choose the one with the longer sites. Tons of activities, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, zip lines, archery, and more and more. Most of these are warm weather activities but we are zip lining today. Be forewarned that there is NO wifi except at the visitors center, and no tv reception. You are here for the nature and activities. Hotel and conference center right neat Helen Ga. We will be back.

If you are travelling on I-95 south or north and need a place to camp overnight this is a nice place to stay. The owner is fantastic, will bend over backwards to help you. Restroom facilities are just a small house like structure but clean. Pull through sites with gravel, cement pad, water electric, sewer and great wifi and cable tv. Didn't have a picnic table but that was ok for one night.

This campground has been here for quite along time. There are a lot of sites and I believe are all pull through but most have no shade. We asked for a site with shade and was given one that was ok. Two strips of concrete blocks made up our driveway but it was level. Many sites have full pavement but most all of them were in full sun. Nice lake and good pool. Ask to be as near to the clubhouse as you can and you will have some wifi. Our cable worked fine and it was a nice overnight stay. Didn't use the restrooms or showers so can't comment. Watch out for the ducks.

We didn't use the restrooms so I did not rate them. This is a very small country (looks home owned) campground 3 miles off the beaten path from I-75 near Macon Ga. Sites are not level at all (we had a hard time leveling and they are so close together we had to move the site number poles to open our slides. Rural to say the least. We only stayed one night on our trip home. Not many campgrounds in this area and if you need an overnight, this might work for you?

Very nice park right off interstate I-75 just as you enter Ga into Chattanooga from the north. As a matter of fact it is on exit #1. Treed sites in the non-seasonal section are nice, still pretty close to one another but nothing terrible. Nice quite park, great pool and a great place to see the eclipse (this time). Bathrooms are individual, clean and air-conditioned. Nice green area (tenting area) to walk your dog. They have a dog park but instead of chips or the like they have pebbles, good for them I guess but not so good for the dogs but that is the only negative I came up with. If you are travelling on I-75 north or south, great place to stay the night or for a few days to explore Chattanooga. In case you are not towing, there is a Dollar General across the street and you can bike for less than a mile to reach many fast food joints and a very nice Greek Restaurant, Portofino.

This is a very neat well kept campground just west of Columbus Ohio. It is on the small side with sites very close together. There is no shade but if you are looking for an overnight stay heading north or south, consider this park. The lady who owns the park is very nice and helpful. Yes they do have rules and she makes sure you know them but that is ok as she has to deal with those who don't abide by them. Restrooms are somewhat dated but clean. We would come back again if we needed an overnight.

This campground is off interstate 90 just over the Ohio border with Pennsylvania. The campground is about 90% seasonal, with just a few overnight sites. We only stayed one night as we on our way south to Florida. Seems crowded with very limited supplies at the store. Looks like it might be nice for fishermen and outdoorsmen, and is near Lake Erie. Ok place to stay overnight.

Didn't rate the restrooms as we didn't use them. This park is primo in every way. Paved sites, great wifi, beautiful walks/hikes, treed sites, pull through and back in. Casino shuttle, and much, much, more. Very peaceful and relaxing, lives up to all the other reviews. If we were up here again, we would definitely come back here again.

Nice surprise off busy I-495. Off the beaten path in a quiet little town of Littleton Ma. Very tall trees line all the sites. Spread out with plenty of room between sites. Quiet with nice rec room, pool, and activities. Wifi is good and we would stay here again.

We stopped at this campground on our way from New Brunswick to our home in Florida. It is somewhat close to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park and very close to Bangor and a casino. It is right off Hwy 1A and has a camp supply store next door on one side and McKays Rv dealer on the other side. We had a problem when we checked in as the person that was supposed to leave our site left their camper and couldn't be reached so the owner put us up in her driveway at her expense. We had water and electric hookup and were happy as clams for the night. Nice quite campground that is kept up very nicely. Immaculate pool and nice bathrooms. Many seasonal sites but everyone we met were really nice. Great wifi with some road noise in the morning but nothing that bad. I would definitely stay here again.

This campground is right on the bottom loop of Waters St and the Bay of Fundy so you have great views. It has numerous seasonal campers but we didn't seem to have trouble getting a reservation. Since we are USA citizens we used our credit card and got the exchange rate price which was fair. The sites are very close together which we experienced here in New Brunswick so be prepared for that. Beautiful setting but we had fog most of the day here. Pretty close walk or bike ride to town. Nice quaint town with a few shops and one grocery store. Really cool tide differences right in front of your campsite. Very good wifi. When you come in on 127 and get to Harriet St turn left and go down Prince of Wales and approach the campground from this way. Don't go down Waters St as it is full of cars are trucks unloading which makes it almost impossible to get by. (We learned the hard way)

If you plan on camping here make sure you tow your car or have one to use. The Fundy trail starts here but you really need a car to see it. Fantastic location on the Fundy beach with rocks and tide differences you have to see to believe. Most of this campground is seasonal, sites are pretty close together with no shade. You can hike to the Caves if you want but taking a car would be nicer. There is a great seafood restaurant at the Caves so make sure you stop for lunch or dinner. People were nice and helpful but we felt pretty isolated in St Martins as their wifi is non-existent and there is no over air tv stations. Rent a movie and enjoy being off the grid for awhile. The last 15 miles of the road to St Martins is somewhat rough but nothing like was stated in the former reviews. It had repairs but nothing that was all that bad.

I didn't think I would like the fact that they don't take reservations but if you plan your visit right it should work out for you. Don't try and check in on a Friday or Saturday, that is when everyone is checking in. Wait until Sun-Wed and that should work out better. Restrooms were dated, check in was fine but make sure you bring a check book or have cash. They DON'T take credit cards. Staff was friendly and helpful (carried some wood for us in their cart to our site). You really don't need to have a car to visit Acadia from here as their bus service is PRIMO. As a matter of fact parking in the park is very hard to find. Some full hookups are kind of narrow with mostly no shade. Many of the water electric only sites were very shaded and secluded. Great place to camp to see Acadia and Bar Harbor.

Very nice quiet campground right near Freeport Me. Nicely wooded and laid out separating the sites. You don't feel like you are right on top of someone. The lady who checked us in was fantastic. She even took us into town in her shuttle van so we could visit LL Bean and the other stores in Freeport. We didn't visit the restrooms so we can't comment. We used the water and electric site and were very happy. Nice quiet place.

First this place is so out in the boonies from the interstate we though for sure we were lost. Narrow hilly roads our gps took us down and just when we though we would hear banjos the campground appeared out of no where and there we were. We came in on a Saturday and only stayed one night. The park is not laid out very well, very hodgepodge. The sites are grass and dirt (mud from some rain) and there must have been 1000 people in numerous tents, permanent sites and such. I have never seen so many people in a campground in my life. There were many activities to do and they ran them well but the crowds and such were so distracting we were glad we only stayed one night. It reminded us of a huge tailgate party and if you have a large group to do that you will love this park. Restrooms were ok with the usual unclean showers. Poor directions out and in of the park back to civilization.

Beautiful state park in Pa, a little off the beaten path (Interstate) but not too bad. Quite a few ups and down (hills) but seems to be expected in this neck of the woods. Great paved site, fishing and the like to do if you like those things (we only stayed one night). I would have given it a higher rating except they have no water hookups. I know a lot of people fill their tanks and use it that way but we don't like to do that. There were a lot of families there when we visited. The reason I gave the restrooms a lower rating is for the mold in the showers.

As others have said a nice family campground very near the National Park. That said you really want to have transportation with you as biking is rough up and down hills unless you are fit and strong. Enterprise Rental will come and pick you up if you need a car. One negative thing is hwy 134 which is the only hwy you would bike or walk down to the park from the campground. It is VERY dangerous and narrow with no lane for biking or walking so BE careful if you want to do that. If you are into horses they have them here for tours etc. Lots to do for the young kids, putt putt, swimming, basketball, volleyball etc. If you are planning on visiting Gettysburg, this is a great place to stay (sites are rough gravel and many un-level) but bring transportation or plan on renting some.

Great stop over rv resort off I-95 near the North Carolina and Virginia border. Follow signs off the highway and you will easily find it. Pull through sites with choices of gravel or paved (more money). Cable tv but on gravel sites owner said they were working on it. Great wifi, very nice swimming pool and hot tub. Didn't check out the restrooms but I imagine they are nice as well. Only negative we saw was their putt putt golf was totally destroyed and unusable. No trees or shade but I guess that is what you would expect for a place like this. We had a nice restful evening on our trip to Maine.

Beautiful park off I-95 in middle South Carolina. After you turn off Hyw 6 you will come to a stop sign. Take care there as a right turn will take you to one campground and a jog straight ahead road takes you to the other. Nice store and fishing pier, beautiful scenery but restrooms are dated with missing tile in the showers. If you are a fisherman or enjoy the water this is nice place to visit.

We came in late and called ahead. A very kind host met us in the dark and directed us to our site. We didn't see much of the park as we got in late and left early but what we saw was very pleasing. Quiet and out of the way a little but nice place to stay.
