This is a small park with a few permanent residents but well maintained. The sites are gravel and called pull-thrus but they are set up one in front of the other. So if there is someone in the first row in front of you - you will need to back out of your site. For those of us with a tow-dolly this is impossible without unhooking everything first and re-hooking it all back up. Be sure to ask when you make your reservations. There is some road noise from the highway - even at night. The sites are pretty narrow. We had full hookups and no issues with them. WiFi was weak, our Verizon signal was good. We stayed October 14-17, 2017 and paid $25 a night with no discounts. It is close to Death Valley National Park.

They have 60 sites, all gravel pull-thrus. It is easy access from the road and easy to navigate in the park. Check in was fast and friendly. They have some basic items along with crafts in their store. The park is very well maintained and the laundry and bathrooms are very clean. There is a little road noise but not too bad. We were in Site 54 with full hook-ups. No issues with the hook ups. Our site was next to the picnic area so we had a bit more room than the other sites. WiFi was spotty and our Verizon signal was just okay. Lots of open space to walk the dog. Safeway grocery store and Dollar General next door. We stayed October 12-14, 2017 and paid $28.71 with our Good Sam Discount.

This park has over 200 sites and a few tent sites. You register at the gas station/general store - which has all your basics. So pulling in is easy and the roads in the park are also easy to navigate. Check in was fast and friendly. Even though the park is on Hwy 395 there is very little road noise. The sites are all gravel and level. We were in site 114, pull-thru with full hook-ups - no problems with the hookups, and plenty long enough for our 37' Class A, tow dolly and parking the car. A little wider than normal. There are two dog parks, one small and one medium size. They have a catch and release pond with some golf holes around it. There is a rec room, pool and laundry room, all of which are clean. We stayed October 8-12, 2017 and paid $23.71 a night with our Passport America discount. WiFi was okay, Verizon signal good. You are not far from Lake Tahoe and Carson City.

This was our second stay at this park - first time was in December 2015. There is easy access into the park with a very wide driveway and the roads in the park are easy to navigate. Check in was quick and friendly. The park has 100 sites, 83 of them pull-thru. It is very well maintained and quiet. The sites have a fenced cement patio and are level. We were in site 97 with full hook ups, no issues with any of the hook ups. It was long enough for our 37' Class A, tow dolly and parking the car. The laundry and bathrooms are super clean. They have movies you can borrow as well as a book exchange library. There is also a full size drive-in movie screen. They show movies on Friday and Saturday nights - and you can listen thru your radio. There are two large dog parks. WiFi was good and Verizon signal was strong. We stayed September 23-26, 2017 and paid $39.00 a night with our Good Sam discount.

The campground is right off the road so easy in, but some of the turns in the park are tight and the sites are not well marked. This is your basic park, all gravel with very narrow sites. We were in Site 12 with full hook-ups and luckily no one was next to us or our slide outs probably would have touched. There were no issues with the hook-ups on our site, the water hookup on the site next to us leaked and left a constant running puddle on our site. WiFi was weak, Verizon signal strong. There was a fair amount of traffic noise and trains close by. We stayed August 14-20, 2017 paid $30.00 a night. There may have been a weekly rate or Good Sam discount but they were not listed on the form left on the front door of the office. We never once spoke to or saw the owners, everything was done via voicemail - when they bothered to return a call, and a drop box on the office door. We had only planned to spend a few nights but due to illness, and it was move in weekend at Brigham University and there was nowhere else to stay. We would not go back to this one.

This was our second stay here, the first in September of 2015. The roads into and inside the park are easy to navigate. We were in Site 32, a gravel pull through with full hook ups, average width and a picnic table. The park is well maintained and quiet, the laundry room and bathrooms are very clean. The rec room has a pool table, fuse ball, and exercise equipment. We stayed August 20 - 22, 2017 and paid $29.16 a night with our Good Sam discount

This is a city park with easy access in and nice wide paved roads inside the park.
The sites are very wide and most of them like ours are back-ins. We were in site 38, with full hook-ups and a picnic table. No issues with the hookups. The site had shade trees and was very private. There is a paved walking/biking path that runs through the park. You have access to the river and a number of beaches. Perfect for dog walks. Our only complaint is that the water sprinklers run from 8:00 am -10:00 am right on the site and some of the other sites from 10:00am -noon. This happens two day a week, and makes it impossible to use your site during this time. Being early risers we saw the sprinklers in the wide open areas running at 6:30am - seems this could be switched around. It is very quiet except for the occasional train - but almost no horn noise. We stayed August 22 - 25, 2017 and paid $25.72 a night.

The road in is easy to navigate. Some of the turns in the park are a little tight. This is a fairly large park and the sites are pretty close together. We were in site 132, with only water and electric hookups. It is a pull through and plenty long enough but very narrow with barely room for the picnic table. It is nice and quiet in the back of the park. The WiFi was very weak and our Verizon signal was moderate. We stayed Sept 1 -5, 2017 and paid 43.76 per night with a senior discount.

Don't let the name fool you - there is no beach - in fact you can't see any water. There are a lot of stores - big box and places to eat on island. The only access - on or off is onto I-5 which at times can be backed up. One evening it took us an hour and 10 minutes to drive 1.7 miles to the entrance ramp to the island. It is also in the take off flight path of Portland International Airport and the planes are very loud - add the 9:00am flights of the military jets and you really have some noise. There is also a train that runs 24/7 and loud freighter horn noises. The park itself is quiet but the rest is pretty loud. The park is a mix of mobile homes and RV sites. There is a pool and playground area. The sites are pretty narrow and some you are almost touching your neighbors slide. We were in Site 827, a back in with full hook ups. There were no issues with any of the hookups. The site was very short - we have a 37 foot Class A with a tow dolly. The tow dolly was pushed under the back of the RV and we had to park in the overflow a few sites away. There was a picnic table on our site - some didn't have them. We were right across from the maintenance shed and the garbage dumpsters, at one point there were eight very full dumpsters for three days and we could smell them inside our RV. There were also a number of homeless people going through the dumpsters early mornings and late evenings. We stayed August 25-Sept 1, 2017 and paid $28.43 a night with our Good Sam discount. WiFi was very weak and our Verizon signal was

This is great campground with about 50 sites, a combination of no hook ups to full hooks. Roads in the park are easy to navigate. Sites are gravel and pull through, some have a patch of grass. All are level and about average width and long enough for our 37' RV and tow-dolly with room to park the car. We were in site B4. The hookups were normal with no problems. The water is well water and per the owners suggestion we used bottle water for drinking. Even though it is right on Hwy 50 it is very quite. There is a pool, a nice walking path around the perimeter of the park and a huge dog park. The views are nice and the park is very clean as is the laundry and bathrooms. The owner is super friendly and check in was a breeze and she even called to say good-bye after we left as she missed us before we pulled out. We visited Bishops Castle, Pikes Peak, Colorado Springs and Pueblo. WiFi was good and our Verizon signal was strong. We stayed June 27-July3, 2017 and paid $28.00 a night with a military discount.

The RV park is behind the casino and you use the last driveway to get to it. The roads in are easy to navigate and check in was fast and friendly. They have over 50 sites and do not take reservations. We were in site 40, cement and very level with a wider than normal strip of grass and a picnic table. We had full hook ups, 50 amp and good water pressure. Nothing out of the ordinary with the hook ups. Park is well maintained and the bath house and laundry room were exceptionally clean. They offer a shuttle service to the casino plus it is an easy walk back and forth. We stayed one night, June 23, 2017 and paid $26.50 after a $5.00 discount when we got a Players Card at no cost.

The road in to the entrance - Hwy J - is a narrow two-lane road so take it easy. The roads in the park are narrow but doable - some of the trees to our site were a little low. This is a large campground with over 200 sites. They have tent sites, cabins and condos along with trailer sites. Two catch and release ponds, playgrounds, swimming pool, putt-putt golf and a restaurant that serves pizza and wings. Check in was fast and friendly and the store has your basic needs for camping and food and drinks. We were in site 187 which has some trees for shade in the morning and the camper next to you is down a little hill so you have some privacy. Sites are cement and level with grass, picnic table and fire pit. We had full hook ups but the water connect is on the wrong side of the camper, a good 50-feet away. We were not told this in advance but luckily we had enough hose. WiFi was not very good, our Verizon signal was strong. We stayed one night June 22, 2017 and paid $28.24 with our Passport America discount.

The driveway in is a bit narrow so take it slow. This is a large campground with over 100 sites. There is lots to do, a fishing pond, swimming pond, putt-putt golf, playground, horseshoes and more. Roads are gravel and they grated them while we were there. We were in site 79, all grass and not very level, but wider than normal with a picnic table. Plenty long enough for our 37 foot RV with tow-dolly. We had water and 50 amp electric, no sewer. Camp is well kept and quiet. We stayed the night of June 20, 2017. WiFi was spotty our Verizon signal was strong. We paid $19.26 with our Passport America discount

The road in is the service drive to I-94 so easy to navigate. The roads in the park are gravel. Check in was fast and friendly. There are around 100 sites with a mix of hook ups from 30 amp to full. Sites are gravel and level with grass and on the narrow side. A picnic table and fire ring are available if you want them. There is very little road noise and the camp is quiet. Shopping and eating are close by and you are just minutes from Ann Arbor. We were in Site 28 and had full hook ups with 50 amp. No issue with the hook ups and water pressure was good. Site was just long enough for our 37-foot RV and tow-dolly and parking the car. There is plenty of space to walk the dog. We did not use the bath house or laundry. WiFi was okay and our Verizon signal was strong. We stayed June 13-20, 2017 and paid $35.10 a night with our Good Sam discount.

The campground is right on the Ohio River and there is a boat launch and docks. The road in is gravel and you cross a train track (train doesn't run at night). Check in was fast and friendly. The majority of sites are full time and well kept up. Our site was a pull through but just barely. We were right next to the bathhouse and pulling out was a bit tricky. We were able to leave the tow-dolly attached. Site was all grass and level. We were parallel to the river so sitting outside was nice and peaceful. We had full hook-ups with 50 amp The water connection was a little far, about 30 feet. Water pressure was good. WiFi wasn't good the first night but they put in a new system the next day and it worked great. We stayed June 7-9, 2017. We paid $39.22 a night with no discount. Across the river is East Liverpool, with shopping and restaurants. Just down the road from the campground is the Laughlin China Company where Fiestaware is made. They have a retail store and be sure to check out their scratch and dent room - great prices.

If you are looking for peace and quiet you will find it here. No noise except the birds. The road in is a bit narrow so take it slow. We were in the only pull through - very long with plenty of space for our 37-foot RV with tow-dolly and parking the car. Gravel site but level. Each site offers plenty of space and includes a picnic table and fire ring - plus free fire wood. The park is well maintained and there is lots of open space to walk and run your dog off lead. They have a huge field with a grass maze and a fishing pond with a wooden swing next to it. This place just makes you relax. The bathhouse is clean. No laundry on site. The WiFi was spotty and our Verizon signal was low and on extended 1x. Laundry and WiFi dropped the rating to a 4. We stayed June 5-7, 2017. We paid $45.05 a night, no discounts offered.

This is a beautiful campground. There are four different sections ranging from full hook-up to primitive tent camping as well as cabins. The roads in the park are easy to navigate. Sites are gravel and level, average size grass area. We were in #23 - a back in with a large grass area behind us. Our site was right on the road and it was noisy, farther into the park would not be. Each site has a picnic table on a cement patio and a fire pit. The best site in the park is #4. The park is very well maintained. We had full hook up and water pressure was good. We needed to use our long sewer hose due to the placement of the connect. WiFi was good when the park was pretty empty but on the busy weekend we couldn't get on it. Verizon signal was strong. The laundry and bathrooms were very clean. There is plenty to do, two playgrounds, corn hole, big field, air pillow trampoline, a nice size dog park and a pond and the creek runs through the park. They also offer shuttles to local wineries and breweries. We stayed May 29 - June 5, 2017. We paid $52.47 a night with our Good Sam discount. Close to Monticello and other historical sites.

This is a no frills RV Park. It is right off of Hwy 460 so easy to get to. All sites are pull through so perfect for an overnight stop without having to unhook a tow vehicle. Check in was fast and friendly. Sites are gravel and a little unlevel, with a wider than normal strip of grass. No picnic table or fire ring.50amp and good water pressure. No amenities other than WiFi that worked well and our Verizon signal was strong. Road noise was not bad at night. We paid $40 a night with no discounts offered. We stayed May 25 -29, 2017. The road in from Hwy 220 is narrow and rough in places so be careful. Watch for the propane gas sign to see the entrance to the park. We stayed May 20-25, 2017 The staff that checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The camp has over 140 sites, a mix of campers, RV's and tents. There are a number of seasonal residents, but most are well kept. Some of the roads in the park are pot holed and bumpy. Sites are gravel and grass and not very level, we were in site 12. They include a picnic table and a fire ring. We had full hook-ups with 50 amp and good water pressure. There is no WiFi. Our Verizon MiFi worked well. There is plenty to do - a pool, putt-putt, trampoline, basketball, game room, catch and release pond, and trails. The store is stocked with basic needs and gifts. The laundry room was okay. Did not use the bathrooms. We paid $29.00 a night with a combination of Good Sam and Passport America discounts. You are about 15 minutes from the North Carolina Zoo.

This is a large park (200+ sites) and they do not take reservations unless there is a race in Talladega. You check in at the gas station which has a well stocked convenience store. The roads are easy to navigate in and out. We stayed March 6-13, 2017. We were in site #4 which is right next to the parking lot for the boat ramp so there was a little car noise but not bad. The site was gravel and very level. It was just long enough for our 37-foot class A, tow-dolly and parking the car. There is a picnic table and small cement patio. Hooks up were all easy to get to and use, water pressure was good. The lake views are pretty and the park is quiet. WiFi was fair and our Verizon signal was good. We paid $30.69 a night with our Good Sam Discount.
