This is not a campground! It is a parking lot. The pull thru sites are so narrow that units with slides on both sides can't deploy one side. I had to back my rig up so a 40' rig could get out of his space next to me. No room to sit outside let alone grill outdoors.
No room for your toad so you have to park it away from your site.

This is not a campground! It is a small area of total asphalt and gravel with no grass whatsoever. The sites are so close together that the picnic table of the site next to us was up against our coach. I was unable to open our awning because it protruded into the street and would have been struck by passing RV's. I am not even sure I will be able to pull out without asking our neighbors to back up. The active railroad is 40 feet from the campground and homeless people tent camp on the other side of the railroad tracks. The only positive was that the staff was friendly.

How does this get a 7.5 on Good Sam??? This is by far the worst campground we have ever stayed at.

Beware of this campground. It sits directly next to a railroad track. Staff is not friendly. Sites are so small you have no outdoor space. I could stand between the RV's, put both arms out and touch both RV's. The staff told me they have a large amount of people staying their that are working at the Amazon fulfillment center. It truly is a trailer park in many ways.

After reading the horrible reviews, I decided to come anyway because of the proximity. I am glad I kept my reservation. The negative reviews I have read are unfair in my opinion. This is clearly a "Metro" campground, which means it is a "City" setting. I have stayed in many "Metro" campgrounds in different cities, and while this is not a top of the line campground, it has many great facets. It is really close to everything in Louisville. The staff is very friendly and very accomodating. Yes the sites are not as big as I would like or have seen elsewhere, but compared to other "Metro" campgrounds, I have seen much worse. Quad slides don't leave you a lot of room on the side but it is not like you are bumping in to your neighbor. Sites are paved and level. 40' Coach with enclosed car trailer got in and out with little issues. Another 43' with enclosed car trailer was next to me with quad slides and it was fine. Fairly quiet campground. Yes there is a train that passes by - at a very slow speed and while you hear the "rumble", there are no horns or signals and running a small fan as I always do in the bedroom, never heard it at nite. Don't be afraid to visit if you want to be close to activity in Louisville.

This campground is small but all hookups are great as is the location to Louisville. The management is superb. I wouldn't think of staying any where else in this area, as must be the thought of others as it is full most nights.

Ideal location. Within a few miles of everything. Just across the river from Louisville Ky. It is in town camping. No trees or nature trails. It is not like the country guietness but is so convenient to town. What do
You expect when your in town. The sites are close together and there is no grass at the sites but there is a great area to walk the dogs across from the store. The restrooms were clean and the people were friendly and helpful. We have a 43' fifth wheel and it was tight getting out but my husband can drive so there was no problem. To be in town it was great. If we wanted a campground for a getaway we would stay in the country. This is about LOCATION!
