We stayed over Labor Day weekend and the park was full. This is not a huge campground at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It is wooded with very few sites that get satellite. They have TV hook-ups at the site, but we did not use. The sites aren't as level as I would like, but we were able to level a 40ft fifth-wheel without much trouble. The road from the interstate to the campground is a country road, so it can be narrow and a little curvy. We had no problems getting there. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and escort you to your site. Our escort even waited until we were in the site to make sure everything was okay. They have both pull through and back-in sites. We were in a pull through site. The interior roads are all gravel and seem to be a little tight, but we didn't have any problems maneuvering our rig in or out. The store, bathhouse, pool, playground, dog park and other activities are at the entrance to the park, so it can be a little bit of a walk if your site is in the back. Everything was kept clean during our stay. Trash is picked up everyday from your site and firewood (after purchased) is delivered to your site. Our only complaint were the gnats. We will definitely be going back.
