How to Read Good Sam Directory Ratings

The three-number rating that accompanies each campground listing in the directory gives readers an at-a-glance assessment of a campground's amenities, cleanliness and environment.

How to read the Good Sam Rating 10/10 /10.
All three ratings categories are measured on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best.Less than 1 percent of parks or campgrounds receive the coveted 10 / 10 / 10 rating, which indicates superior facilities that are well maintained, clean, well-appointed restrooms and a highly appealing appearance.Campgrounds are inspected annually by dedicated RVers like you.

Completeness of facilities

10 / 10 / 10
The first campground rating evaluates completeness and quality of facilities. In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.

Women in office very polite and helpful. The man who showed us the site acted like we were bothering him. Pointed out our site as he drove past and then stopped several campsites further on to talk to another camper. He never asked if we needed help backing in our 36 foot A class and actually ignored us while we were trying to get centered in the site. The road was narrow and a truck was parked on the side in front of our site.
Next camper in was a single woman and he fell over backwards trying to help her park a small camper trailer.
If the weather had been rainy we probably wouldn't have been able to drive up the rutted dirt incline and going down would have been fun too because there was a left turn at the bottom of the dirt road.
BEEN THERE, DONE THAT and WON'T BE BACK!!!

Disappointed with this campground. We had a back in site and went with 2 kids. We were put directly by a busy road and then found out they had better sites they could have given us. Which frustrated us cause people would drive by screaming amd honking horns at all hours of day and threw stuff out of cars. Restrooms are dirty and very outdated. The family fun park was anything but that. Bouncy houses were dirty, wet and had green slime on them. They told us they had plenty of staff at fun park to help kids. They had 1 person working. The pedal cars they advertise had broken pedals on them. The fishing pond was covered with heavy algae, so could noy fish. The pool needed cleaned. The sites were very muddy and not maintained except mowed. They did offer family activities and the sites were covered by trees. The only perks of the campground. Probably the worst experience in 3 years camping. They do a great job marketing their place, but the actual experience is not pleasant.
