How to read the Good Sam Rating 10/10 /10.
All three ratings categories are measured on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best.Less than 1 percent of parks or campgrounds receive the coveted 10 / 10 / 10 rating, which indicates superior facilities that are well maintained, clean, well-appointed restrooms and a highly appealing appearance.Campgrounds are inspected annually by dedicated RVers like you.

A peaceful oasis yet close to everything! Check in was quick & easy, staff were extremely gracious and friendly. Our site (#4) was very wide with a huge oak tree on one side, plenty of shrubs and an excellent canopy of trees overhead - they even have Solar Balls hidden in the upper tree canopy that give off a soft "glow" during the night. If you are looking for a "manicured RV park" look elsewhere....this felt more like a State Park, so we loved it. The large trees do have roots that could interfere with leveling but the sites are wide enough this wasn't a problem. There is a large lake in the very back of the property - with picnic table, canoes, and a path that leads to a shopping center nearby. Loved the fact they have a fenced in DOG PARK where we could let the boys off leash ...it even has a modest "agility course" for exercise. Also liked the fact they have gates at the entrance for security - a Card is issued at check in to open gates. Saw a number of laundry facitilies scattered thru the park, all well lit
