This place is the best RV camp we've been in. It does have the normal crowding issue but at least it's beautiful, clean and in the woods.

It's just nice. They have propane grills on the deck for all to use, looking over the San Lorenzo River. Bathrooms are clean, close enough to all campsites to use comfortably. Just a great three days there.

Too bad there's no way for us to get to the river. And once again, can you maybe make a dog run, you got the room....

Good Sam Club struck gold with this park.

Stayed here for one week in Sept 2015. Staff was polite and friendly. Nestled in the Redwoods the park is beautiful. The camp grounds and facilities are maintained and clean. Plenty of areas for both adults and kids to enjoy the grounds. Located a short drive from Santa Cruz beaches gives you an opportunity to enjoy the woods and the coast at the same time. Only minor drawback is the sites are very close together. I would have no problem recommending this resort.

This is a beautiful campground. Set in the redwoods, you are nestled in your own little piece of nature. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is clean and well maintained. There are paved areas for the kids to ride bikes or play catch. The bathrooms are clean, showers are great with good water pressure and they're free! There are no fire pits (drought) but they do allow you to use your own portable propane fire pit. The only downside - there are very few (maybe 2?) pull through sites. We were lucky and got there on a Thursday, before the campsites had filled so we were able to use the empty sites behind us to create our own pull through. But it would have been a real struggle backing into the site, which was bordered by trees on both sides. And just make sure you bring enough leveling boards as we had to raise one side up 8 inches. We're new RVers, so maybe that's normal? But we had to go to the local lumber yard to get more boards. And a BIG shout out to San Lorenzo Lumber, who was more than gracious and let us take what we needed from their scrap pile at no charge! This is a beautiful campground. It's definitely on our list of places we would return to!
