Ionic Clean

Love that professional-quality, just-washed look of your RV, but don’t love the expense or the hassle of taking it to a special facility? Now you can easily and efficiently wash your rig at home with Ionic Clean — a revolutionary device that de-ionizes hard water. Simply attach to a garden hose, use unfiltered water for the initial wash and then switch to the de-ionized water, which is conveniently sprayed out of the double-action cleaning brush that is attached to the tank by a 20-foot hose. When you’re done, there’s no need to get a cloth out to wipe down the RV since the de-ionized water ensures a spot-free finish. Robin Borkowski, a Good Sam product tester from Rapid City, South Dakota, polished up her rig with Ionic Clean and reports, “The tank was kind of heavy to tote around, but the item worked great.”

Play Nine Card Game

No room for your golf bag in your RV? You can still get in a round with Play Nine, a card game that replaces tee shots with deals from a card deck. Combine the luck of the draw with shrewd golf strategy to vie for the lowest score as you make your way down the “course.” Jerry Henocker, a Good Sam member from Mitchell, South Dakota, took a swing at Play Nine and reports, “It’s lots of fun playing with two or four players.” Price: $14.99 Contact: Bonfit America, 800-526-6348, www.bonfit.com

GrillScrubber Barbecue Scraper

Sure, flipping burgers is a blast, but scrubbing the grime-encrusted grill afterward can be an ordeal. Banish the post-barbecue blues with the GrillScrubber, which uses replaceable stainless-steel cleaning pads called Scrubbies to remove cooked-on residue. Users simply attach the Scrubbies to the ends of the GrillScrubber’s spring-loaded handles and start cleaning. A built-in grill scraper tackles especially stubborn BBQ buildup. Good Sam Club product tester Ryan Kennedy of Simi Valley, California, put the scrubber to work and says, “I would use this at home.” Price: $29.99 Contact: Golden Gate Alliance, 510-792-9036, www.ggalliance.com

Windshield Wonder Window Cleaner

A grimy windshield can spoil your view of the highway ahead. Get a clear look at the world outside with the Windshield Wonder, a pivoting microfiber cloth on a 16-inch-long handle that cleans and shines glass surfaces. The fibers grab dust and dirt, and the pivoting head makes it easier to polish large RV windows, inside and out, as well as mirrors and other glass areas. Good Sam product tester Marilyn Heimke of Florence, Wisconsin, wiped her windows with the Windshield Wonder and tells us, “It makes hard-to-reach areas easier to clean.” Price: $10 Contact: Windshield Wonder 800-777-4034, www.newwindshieldwonder.com
