Protect All Polish, Wax and Treatment
With a little elbow grease, you can leave your RV surfaces clean, shiny and shielded from the elements. Protect All takes care of most surfaces inside and outside an RV, including glass, fiberglass, plastic, leather and stainless steel. The non-abrasive carnauba wax formula goes on without residue, and the UV absorber protects from sun damage. Good Sam product tester Rod Garriott of Junction City, Oregon, applied Protect All Polish, Wash and Treatment and says, “It’s super for pretreating our fifth wheel’s ‘nose’ to make bug removal easy. It’s also good for the front of our tow vehicle.” PRICE: $9 to $14 CONTACT: Protect All, www.protectall.com
Ribz Front Pack
Relief has arrived for hikers seeking an alternative to backpacks. The Ribz front pack switches the weight you’re carrying to the front of your body, helping with balance and mobility. The four external zippered pockets and four additional internal pockets put essential gear in easy-to-reach locations. Made of waterproof ripstop nylon, the pack weighs only 11 ounces. Lauren Hillquist, a Good Sam product tester from Green Valley, Arizona, strapped on the Ribz pack and tells us, “It really does bring the weight forward and makes it convenient for holding small things like a GPS or camera.” PRICE: $64.95 CONTACT: Ribz, www.ribzwear.com
ComfortSeat Portable Seating System
Don’t let hard, splintery benches or damp, uneven ground ruin your next picnic or outdoor event. ComfortSeat lets RVers bring a cushy perch to any occasion. The portable chair has a 14-point adjustable hinge that allows every user to find a comfortable seat-back angle. Sunbrella fabric makes the seat durable, and the galvanized carbon-steel frame gives it the strength to support up to 300 pounds. Hubert Sturdivant, a Good Sam product tester from Dallas, Oregon, tried out the ComfortSeat and reports, “It provides comfort, support and the versatility to sit up wherever I want.” PRICE: $99.95 CONTACT: G2 Products, www.comfortseatus.com
Batter Blaster Ready-to-Cook Pancake Batter
Fresh pancakes are a favorite breakfast treat but can make a mess in the RV galley. Batter Blaster puts pancakes back on the burner, with enough batter in one can to make 28 4-inch pancakes or eight waffles. Just heat up a skillet or waffle iron, spray the surface with nonstick spray, spritz on Batter Blaster and start flipping those flapjacks. Batter Blaster comes in four flavors and is USDA-certified organic. Michael Myers, a Good Sam product tester from Tacoma, Washington, flipped over Batter Blaster, telling us “It’s perfect if you want to make a only few pancakes—there’s no need to mix an entire batch. Cleanup is easy.” PRICE: $3.99 CONTACT: Batter Blaster, www.batterblaster.com
