Meeting New Friends

adopt a road, park, wal-m
there are "adopt a highway" signs galore. sometimes signs "highway for adoption" when i drive for an hour or two, i need to stretch, so ifind a likely spot, pull over and take grocery bag and pick up trash. the trick is bend from the waist while doing this. i may only pick up 100 feet along the road, maybe 100 yards. then in my mind i donate that 100 feet for that day to my sister who is a green freek, or any one else you want. i feel good for the stretching and the road looks better. we all could do just a little and people would see the campers along side of the road and not get so anoyed if sometimes we aretoo slow for them.
