Legislative Information

Washington Watchdog:
The Good Sam Club is dedicated to representing the interests of RV owners in Washington. From issues such as absentee voting requirements to supporting our public lands, our chief Washington lobbyist monitors and tracks federal legislation that impacts RVers’ lives.

Park User Fees:
The Good Sam Club fights to keep federal lands’ user fees fair and affordable through Congressional testimony and lobbying efforts. We also monitor spending to ensure that these fees be used for facility maintenance and improvements on our public lands.

Scenic Byways:
As a charter member of the Scenic Byways Steering Committee, the Good Sam Club promotes awareness of scenic byways that stretch across the country. Marked with special signs, these byways are often infrequently traveled roadways through naturally beautiful scenery.

Vehicle Weight Standards:
The Good Sam Club continues to work with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to set corporate average fuel economy (CAFE) standards.
