In smaller, older campgrounds, you may need to take a quick measure before putting the slides out.
Look for obstacles (tree limbs, shore power poles, picnic tables, boulders, etc.) that the slide could hit.
A handy “tool” with which to measure your slide clearance is the metal rod used for grabbing the awning strap. Put pieces of tape or use a permanent marker on the metal hook to indicate the necessary clearance for the slides.
